to help you live long and live well !
Thanks to the assistance of Alina, native to Romania, Master Gu is to offer such a retreat for those who wish to enter a genuine process of cultivating the body, energy, and mind, under the guidance of Master Gu – the Headmaster of Wudang Taoist Wellness Academy ( WTWA) based in central China’s Wudang Mountains.

Participants will follow a structured daily program based on the fundamental practices of Daoism, as they are traditionally transmitted: through discipline, repetition, and integration—rather than variety or excessive stimulation. The focus is placed on inner stability, energetic regulation, and clarity, built step by step. The practice includes:

· Tai Chi and Qigong, for cultivating and circulating Qi

· Zhan Zhuang (standing practice), a central pillar of Daoist practice, for energy accumulation and stabilization of the internal system

· Qi gathering and regulation practices (upper–lower), for harmonizing the entaoist tea evenings, for integration, reflection, or quiet dialogue

The daily structure is intentionally repetitive. This repetition allows the practices to settle into the body and the energetic system, supporting real transformation rather than a temporary experience.

Throughout the retreat, participants will receive three daily meals . Among the meals, there is respectively a breakfast, a lunch and a dinner prepared in Chinese style —cooked by Master Gu’s wife/assitant Hai Ying, in accordance with Yin–Yang & Five-element principles. Food is an integral part of the cultivation process and supports the energetic practices.

This is not a relaxation, spa, or entertainment retreat. It is an inner work space that requires presence, personal discipline, and respect for the process. It is suitable for both sincere beginners and experienced practitioners, as long as there is willingness to follow the proposed structure and to engage consistently. We work in a small group, and this type of retreat is offered rarely.
